Each year Drs. Gambina and Fava participate as Event Physicians at Local, National and International
Sports Competitions.

May 14, 2011 Florida International Triathlon Siesta Key, Florida.
Drs. Gambina and Fava will be providing the medical coverage for this event. This is an Olympic distance triathlon/duathlon and a Sprint
triathlon/duathlon with over 800 athletes. It is a well estabilished race that was a qualifier for the World Championship Duathlon Series in 2008.
The swim takes place in the Gulf of Mexico on Siesta Key Beach. Bikers then ride 13 miles through the streets of Siesta Key. Runners are challenged
with a beach run however this is no ordinary beach run. The fine white sand of Siesta Key makes this the top spot for all of Southwest
Florida's primier races. Drs. Fava and Gambina have been covering this event since 2007.

July 16, 2011 Englewood Triathlon Siesta Key, Florida.
Drs. Gambina and Fava will be providing the medical coverage for this event. This is a Sprint triathlon with 300 athletes.
It is a well-established race that spans the county line between Charlotte County Florida and Sarasota County Florida.
The racer swim in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico at Englewood Beach, then bike along beach road crossing the county line into
Sarasota County with views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercostal Waterway. The run can be considered a little challenging,
as runner must cross the drawbridge over the Intercostal Waterway.

July 23, 2011 Siesta Beach Triathlon Siesta Key, Florida.
Drs. Gambina and Fava will be providing the medical coverage for this event. This is a MultiRace event. It is an Olympic and
Sprint distance triathlon with over 600 athletes. MultiRace is a Miami based company that organizes World Class Triathlon and
Duathlon events throughout the state of Florida. The swim takes place in the Gulf of Mexico on Siesta Key Beach.Siesta Key was
recently rated Number 1 beach in the nation by "Dr. Beach". Bikers then ride through the streets of Siesta Key and runners
are challengedwith a beach run however this is no ordinary beach run. The fine white sand of Siesta Key makes this the top
spot for all of Southwest Florida's primier races.

September 3, 2011 Venice Triathlon Siesta Key, Florida.
Drs. Gambina and Fava will be providing the medical coverage for this event. This is a Sprint triathlon with 400 athletes.
It is a well-established race that starts at Skarky’s Beach in Venice with a .4 mile swim in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Riders
then take off and head downtown for a ride through the street of this quaint little gulf side city. The run portion takes the athletes
through the Casperson State Park, the Venetian Waterway Trail which give views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercostal Waterway.
Another Beautiful race in Southwest Florida.

October 2, 2011 Sarasota Sharks Siesta Key Triathlon Siesta Key, Florida.
Drs. Gambina and Fava will be providing the medical coverage for this event. This is a Sprint triathlon with about 800 athletes.
This will be the 28th Annual Sharks Siesta Key Triathlon and always a favorite for racer! The swim takes place in the Gulf of Mexico
on the World's Number 1 Beach.. Siesta Key Beach. Bikers then ride 13 miles through the streets of Siesta Key. Runners are challenged
with a beach run however this is no ordinary beach run. The fine white sand of Siesta Key makes this the top spot for all of Southwest
Florida's primier races. Drs. Fava and Gambina have been covering this event since 2006!
