What to expect on your first visit

Arrive approximately 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork.

We will verify your insurance benefits immediately. You will be escorted into a treatment room where your benefits will be explained to you. Shortly afterward one of our doctors will take a complete and thorough health history and perform a thorough evaluation of your condition.

This will consist of a typical medical compulsory examination to include: vital signs, heart/lung examination/lymphatic examination/peripheral vascular evaluation, orthopedic and neurological evaluation and musculoskeletal evaluation.

This generally takes 30-60 minutes of doctor/patient interaction time at which point the doctor will go over their diagnosis of your condition and formulate and explain treatment plan that you will receive. For the majority of our patients and dependent on your diagnosis…you will be treated on the first visit.

Treatment typically consists of manual manipulation and/or physical therapy which may included one or more of the following, dependent upon your condition: electric muscle stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound, muscle stretching and balancing, soft tissue release techniques,Graston technique and Kinesiotaping.

Please be advised that we evaluate your condition on each visit, which is how we determine how often you need to utilize our services.

A typical follow-up/additional treatment usually takes 15-20 minutes depending of the level of rehab you’re undergoing.

We are not in the practice of providing multiple repetitive visits. We are of the philosophy that a patient that receives the maximum tolerable treatment in a given visit has the most progressive and therapeutic advantage of recovering to a pain free, full range of motion lifestyle in the least amount of time needed.

We will then give you a home program to prevent the same injury from occurring.

We have a motto in our office that we never want to see you again for the same injury or any injury at all for that matter. We boast about our healthy patient population and encourage our patients to refer their friends and family so that they too can be part of our healthy patient population.
